Financial Management of the Center
Most of our donations (95%) are received directly in our bank accounts through eTransfer, Interac Debit/Credit Transactions and Bank Cheques. Cash donations (5%) are managed through a three-member team and count on every Friday after Juma Prayer. The team counts all cash as per type of donations (Operation, Sadaqa, and Land Fund) and fill a form and sign it by all three members and hand-over to center accountant for depositing in the bank. The signed form and bank receipt are kept with the financial books for auditing by external accountant. Monthly Statements with all collections, expenses, and update on Sadaqa and Land Funds are posted on the Wall of the Musalla.
Annual Financial Statement
Annual Financial Statements are prepared by external accountant and submit to CRA and Charity Directorate as part of the Income Tax and Charity Returns.
